1. The Person of Christ

2. Know the Work of Christ (the Gospel)

Colossians 1:3-6, Colossians 1:19-23, Colossians 1:12-14 

3. Know who you are in Christ (identity)

From the Gospel – each one of us who has believed in the Person and Work of Christ can say (in Christ):

• I am rescued from the dominion of darkness (1:13)
• I am in the Kingdom of Light (1:12)
• I have been redeemed (1:14)
• I am totally forgiven (1:14, 2:13)
• I have peace with God (1:20)
• I am reconciled to God (1:22)
• I am holy in God’s sight (1:22)
• I am blameless in God’s sight (1:22)
• I am free from condemnation (1:22, 2:14 &16)
• I am victorious in Christ (2:15)
• I am complete in Christ (2:10)
• I died with Christ to my old self (2:22, 3:3)
• I am buried with Christ in baptism (2:12)
• I am raised with Christ to new life (2:12, 3:1)
• I am alive in Christ (2:13)
• I will appear with Christ in glory (3:4)
